BENNET

Formed in the summer of 1993.The four piece
signed to Roadrunner Records in 1995.
 
The band released a handful of singles that charted in the Independent
Top 10 and the lower reaches of the charts.
 
The band released two albums for Roadrunner.
Their debut abut was described by the NME as a "superb
piece of work,"
 
John Peel was a big fan of the band.He championed
them heavily on his BBC Radio 1 radio show.
 
During the mid 90s they were easily the biggest band in Reading.
Easily sell out the venue Alley Cat Live (now Sakura) 500 punters
on a regular basis.
 
They are reforming this year and are only playing two gigs.
Chuffed they want to play the Rising Sun Arts Centre.
This will be their last gig ever in Reading.

They will be playing the hits such as 'Mums Gone To
Iceland' and 'Some Always Gets There First'
