The annual West Reading Community Carnival is back and this is your chance to make a costume and join the parade! The theme of this years Carnival project is ‘Bee Happy - Reading in Bloom’. Why? Bee-cause its a wonderful way to spend a Bank Holiday afternoon and Carnival is great fun. As in previous years the Rising Sun will be part of the procession and we can help anyone who would like to bee involved to make a colourful costume and join the procession as it makes its way around West Reading on Monday 26 May.
Carnival workshops take place on Tuesday evenings throughout April and May with Carnival Artist Herman Philbert.
