Classical For Charity

Price:
£3

Classical For Charity will start its third year with something decidedly delightful and not often heard; four-handed piano music delivered to you by your usual hostess Maija Tuomi-Nikula and guest performer Carole Sevestre, who will also play a duet with her daughter Lilla. We will bring you some of the four-handed works of Brahms, such as several of the famous "Hungarian Dances", as well as works from Satie and Rachmaninov.

Needless to say that we are very excited of this opportunity to play these wonderful pieces and see what magic the Rising Sun Arts Centre baby grand piano will create when played with four hands on the keys instead of the usual two!

Doors at 12.30. Concert starts 1pm.

Classical for Charity is a bi-monthly concert series performed by local musicians and hosted by local pianist Maija Tuomi-Nikula. The proceeds are divided equally between The Rising Sun Arts Centre and a chosen Berkshire charity. The chosen charity for this month is Launchpad.
