The second part of our mini-series of Northern European and Scandinavian music. This time we will bring you more Norwegian music (Edvard Grieg, naturally!) and some more famous Finnish pieces as well. Featuring Maija Tuomi-Nikula (pianist and vocalist) and the wonderful jazz singer and mezzosoprano Nicole Monique Johnson, who has performed in a CFC concert previously with great success. Classical For Charity has been going from strength to strength for over a year, and has raised money for 8 different charities, including the host organisation - the Rising Sun Arts Centre.
The proceeds of this concert will be divided between The Rising Sun Arts Centre and the Reading Fundraising Group for Cancer Research UK.
