The first in a series of talks held at the Rising Sun. The purpose of these talks is to increase the knowledge and understanding of experiences in the arts from different perspectives.

Emigrating alone: The impact of UK immigration policy on lone women, a personal account by Nicole Monique Johnson. 

Nicole is originally from California and will be giving a personal account of her experience of emigrating to the UK and drawing on her experience as a versatile musician.
