The Rising Sun presents a series of talks aimed at increasing the knowledge and understanding in the local community of the arts from perspectives different to our own.

From art in the community, community art, art and protest movements to art as a tool for social change.

John will give a review of the way the arts has sought to engage, challenge and promote change and ask what place the Rising Sun has and where it sits within this.
