"My Journey" is an exhibition of oil paintings by Reading-based artist Ahmad Alazami. The exhibition features the experiences Ahmad has collected throughout his life's travels, capturing the essence of the diverse places he has visited and the profound emotions, connections, and personal narratives that have shaped his artistic vision.

Originally from Damascus, Syria Ahmad Alazami is a visual artist who has exhibited his work in the United Kingdom and across Europe. Celebrated for his evocative and emotionally charged artworks that capture the beauty of our world and the profound essence of the human spirit, Ahmad’s artwork combines influences from his Arabic culture and heritage with new inspirations and contemporary aspects. Ahmad Alazami is best known for developing his own multi-dimensional art technique evoking the use of shadows to create multi-layered art pieces. With an innate ability to communicate emotions through his art, Alazami's work has garnered wide recognition and admiration. "My Journey" represents a pivotal moment in his career, offering a rare glimpse into his artistic evolution. 

"My Journey" is Ahmad’s first exhibition of this kind drawn from new creative influences and featuring a selection of oil paintings on canvas, curated by Qamar Ayoubi and intended to debut at the Rising Sun Arts Centre due to Ahmad’s close connection with the centre and the local community. Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to be the first to witness the evolution of Ahmad Alazami's artistic style and gain insight into the emotions that have shaped his work.
