Stand Up Cinema

Stand Up Cinema is a collaboration between The Rising Sun and Real Time Video. Events are held every three months and feature short films by artists and filmmakers. We ask that filmmakers attend the event and are prepared to Stand Up and speak about the film or sit and answer questions/take part in discussion.

This is a lively and fun event with films shown by a wide variety of local creative people. The next Stand Up will be on Friday June the 21st and the theme is film and poetry. (Films of poets, films as poems, films about poems, films with embedded poetry, film as a way of presenting poetry, films and text).
