Mon Oncle (Jaque Tati, 1958). Stand Up’s first showing of a Tati film and long overdue. The film features Tati’s familier character Monsieur Hulot and his struggle with postwar France's infatuation with modern architecture, mechanical efficiency and consumerism. 

Short films 7.30pm, main feature 8pm

Stand Up Cinema shows rarely seen classics, obscure documentaries, cult independents and overlooked modern gems: plus screenings of the best locally made film and video.
