Stand Up Cinema Special: Jackson's

Price:
Free entry

As part of the Reading Fringe Festival, Stand Up Cinema presents three films about Jacksons, looking at the history of the oldest department store in Reading, which closed its doors for good on the 24th December 2013.

Jacksons was a much-loved institution in Reading and film-maker Lea Winchcombe made these three short films to commemorate its demise. 'Jacksons 1875-2013', 'Gatherings and Memories' and 'Walking in the Footsteps of the Past' will be shown along with discussion and talks from Historian Thomas Macey and those involved in making the film.
