Federico Fellini. 1963. Fellini’s towering masterpiece. A semi-autobiographical film about the trials and tribulations of film-making. Eight and a Half is quintessential Fellini, full of fantastic and grand imagery, a sweeping mix of the real and surreal. Fellini himself said the film was 'sincere to the point of being indecent'.
