Final acts announced for Here Comes The Sun

We’ve got a final round of acts and attractions to announce for this year’s festival, with some great new faces and returning names to make this a truly spectacular line-up.

On the music side of things, we’ll see the Here Comes The Sun debuts of harmonious duo Ciircus Street, the soul-tastic Miranda and the Kool Notes and chill-out grooves from The Colossal Perverts of Jazz. We’ll also see familiar festival faces with new projects, with performances from Ubik and Jonathan Amphlett and the Home Counties Band. And in case you missed him announcing it at his own gig at the centre a few weeks ago, Ben Marwood will be back this year, too!

If poetry is more your thing, you’re in luck – we’ll have performances from stalwart poets John Hoggett and Susan Utting. We’ll also have a new sketch from the hilarious Zap Comedy team, as well as a display from Cobra Capoeira – a first for Here Comes The Sun!

Children will be fully entertained, too – as well as face-painting and an array of games to play, we’ll also see a return of the interactive exploration into the songs of the Wild West, Tales from the Trails.

Not only that, but the play-it piano will also be back this year, and we’ll also be greeted by an appearance from Bob, our very own Flint Giant!

Added to everything we announced so far, and it’s looking to be another fantastic festival this year. We might even be able to add a few other surpsies to the day, so keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages!

It’s only a few weeks away, and it’s still only £7 – or free for under 14s. See you there?
