Hi Everyone

We have been rather busy at the Rising Sun over the summer and as October makes its annual appearance.  Luckily, October at the Rising Sun is packed with all sorts of goodies, and this weekend starts the month with a bang...

On Friday, we bring you MADCAP MOONSOUP

Madcap Moonsoup bring you another evening of unpredictable mayhem and surreal goings on.  Every Madcap Moonsoup is a mix of artistically adventurous performers, comedians, musicians and mimes who combine to create an explosion of comedic possibilities.

Appearing this time around are

PINK DIAMOND REVUE ( band)
ARTHUR TURNER
LUKE PAULO (solo)
PHIL JARVIS
DAVID KING
JAMES MASON
STARKEY AND THE MOONDOCTOR
NICK BRADBURY (MC)

It's pandemonium!  Thoroughly enjoyable pandemonium

We're open from 7.30pm and it'll cost you £4 on the door to get in

On Saturday, SCARLET VIXENS present:  A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES

The Scarlet Vixens invade the Rising Sun Arts Centre once more! This time, they're taking the whole shebang to tinsel town, amid the stars of stage and screen. That's right - it's movie night!

On our superstar line up are:

TOOTSIE LA ROCQUE
LAYLA CHERRY
LILYANA L'AMOUR
LADY LISETTE RUBY
LADY INTREPID
LORETTA LEBONKE
MOJO JONES

Our resident DJ TANIA TWINKLE will be spinning some classics as usual, and our favourite potty-mouthed Northerner and all round stunner Miss KITTY PIMMS will be hosting the evening.

We'll be open at 8pm and tickets are still available for £10 at the door

That’s everything for another week, just to remind you that we are, as always, at 30 Silver Street, Reading, RG1 2ST (If you pop it into your satnav or Google, we shall magically appear!)

Have a nice weekend!
