Hi Everyone!

The days get ever shorter, they get ever colder.  Turkeys start getting nervous and hope that christmas is just a cruel rumour put around by the sheepdogs.

But it's not all bad news , equally bad weather or some bloke telling us that he's "driving home for christmas" at great length..  It's also happens to be time to let you know what's happening at the Rising Sun this weekend

On Friday, we bring you something new courtesy of MADCAP MOONSOUP

An evening of surreal mime, comeday and music.  Madcap Moonsoup will be bringing together some of Reading's freshest talent to present grassroots comedy with a surreal edge.

Thus far we have

HOLLY BURN!

RICHARD VERRILL!

STARKEY AND THE MOON DOCTOR!

KATIA KVINGE!

NICHOLAS WRIGHT!

PHIL JARVIS!

With Music from LUKE PAOLO!

Hosted by the one and only DAN WRIGHT

Come!  You know you want to!  Go on!  Go on, go on, go on, go on etc

For more details drop a line to allucocq@hotmail.com

We're open from 7.30pm and it'll cost you a paltry £2 on ther door to get in

On Saturday, CLAYSON SINGS CHANSON

We are very happy to welcome Alan Clayson back to the Rising Sun for what promises to be a wonderful evening of near legendary chanson.

The repertoire will focus on Jacques Bre as well as Gallic and English Chansonniers, with the occasional venture into other curious realms.  Alan Clayson is a performwer without equal who never fails to amaze and enthral.

We're open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start, and entry at the door is £8 (or £7 concs).

That's everything for another weekend, just to remind you that you can find us at 30 Silver Street, Reading, RG1 2ST  (If you put us in your Google or Sat Nav, we shall magically appear)

Have a nice weekend!
