Hi Everyone

Before we get down to business, why is it that whenever describing certain films are fond of saying, "it was very dark"?  Of course it was bloody dark!  I don't know many cinemas who leave the lights on when the film's showing...

Anyway, it's a tiny bit quieter this weekend.  (Let's face it.  We can't keep up our maximum red-hot pace all the time)

Saturday morning brings another BOOKFACE BOOKCLUB

An informal artists book group. Ideal for sharing your latest book finds and creations, sometimes includes art and craft activities for book making

We're open from 10am-12noon and it's only £4

Saturday afternoon sees the return of the YELLOW TEAPOT CAFE

The Yellow Teapot Cafe might do everything a cafe might do. You can buy tea, coffee and soft drinks, biscuit and cake. But we are an event, a haven for those who like to relax, look at books, be creative and drink tea.

We're open from 1pm to 3pm and it'll cost you nothing to come in!

And that's not all, because on Sunday, sees another helping of THE DIVERSITY SOCIAL

A brand new social club for adults with mobility issues. The Diversity Social is run by Steph, who has been a Rising Sun volunteer for many years, and Luisa from local arts group the Messy Club

Luisa tells us "I’ve been practicing making Martinis a lot and will be an excellent Bingo caller by Sunday too"

We're open from 7pm to 9.30pm, and it's absolutely FREE!

That’s everything for another week, just to remind you that we are, as always, at 30 Silver Street, Reading, RG1 2ST (If you pop it into your satnav or Google, we shall magically appear!)

Have a nice weekend!
