Andre Aghassi is an Iranian artist who’s work will be featured in an exhibition at the Rising Sun on the 18 and 19 of July. Andre is from Isfahan one of the world’s most beautiful cities and which is known for its rich cultural heritage, and its abundance of creative practitioners and crafts people.
Andre's work reflects this heritage, creating three-dimensional pieces with a modernist feel which draw on the traditions of Persian sculpture. Andre has a strong passion for both sculpture and painting. His work is a fusion of surrealism and modernism.
“Art is a tool for seeing and thinking differently, and can bring meaning and beauty to our everyday lives”.
His works are inspired by nature, objects, and living beings, through creating them, he seeks to establish a deeper connection with the world around him. He sees art as a means of expressing emotions and conveying complex concepts.
Exhibition dates: Friday 18th July 1.00 pm – 7.00 pm & Saturday 19th July 11.00 am – 7.00 pm.
Opening Event: Friday 18th 8.00pm – 10.00pm. Bar open and nibbles.
