Reading Didgeridoo & World Music Community

Price:
£3

A relaxed, community-led space where musicians can come together to jam, chat, connect, and enjoy making music together. It’ll be an open, participatory session where all instruments are welcome, particularly world and rhythm-based instruments such as didgeridoo, hand drums (e.g. djembe), handpan, flutes, and voice. If you’ve got an unusual instrument that doesn’t quite fit anywhere else, or something that might surprise me, even better!

Alongside the jamming, it is hoped that this becomes a place where musicians can connect with one another, share ideas, and support each other’s growth, whether that’s swapping tips, learning new rhythms, or simply being inspired by playing together. It’s not about performance or being "good enough", just about shared sound, rhythm, and community. All experience levels are welcome. Whether you’ve been playing for years, are just starting out, or simply enjoy being around this kind of music, you’re very welcome!
