Come and witness the grand unveiling of the Reading Lockdown Quilt. For the past year and a half, the Quilt Team at the Rising Sun Arts Centre has created a huge tapestry reflecting Reading's experience of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hundreds of local residents sent in "patches" for the digital quilt - dancing, stills, poems, artwork, music... This digital quilt has now transformed into an IRL fabric tapestry featuring every one of the hundreds of patches submitted by the general public.

The quilt is a huge tapestry measuring 2.5m x 5m - it will be hung in the main hall and tea and cake will be served in the garden.

Booking in advance is compulsory. This is a socially distanced event.
