Shamazon Time: The Buy Nothing Festival

Definitely not sponsored by Shamazon, because we made that up. We are calling it a festival, but it's really a safe space and a gathering away from the Black Friday weekend / high street chaos. A chance to unplug and stop obsessing over product "deals" that are probably cheaper at other times of the year, to buy nothing and spend only time. Everything, bar the bar, is free.

We open our doors wide open and invite you to our exclusive, one-time only, selected-day delivery festival where we encourage active listening, curiosity, making connections and discovering a gorgeous world of visual arts, music, ideas, discussions. No market stalls, no advertising, just people. Entry is completely free, but advanced booking is recommended. Tickets available soon via wegottickets.

This festival is part of the Billboards project at the Rising Sun. This is a 9-month project whereby the Rising Sun Arts Centre and friends will transform advertising billboards into community and public arts spaces in Reading.
