Stand Up Cinema November: West Side Story

Price:
£5

West Side Story (Jerome Robbins & Robert Wise, 1961). A classic take on Romeo and Juliet, the tale of Maria and Tony, star crossed lovers from warring gangs: the sharks and the Jets. Full of memorable songs and amazing set piece dance routines. The kind of movie they ‘just don’t make anymore’. Music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim  - coincides with the Reading Year of Culture ‘Dance’ theme for November.
