Fast Beginners' class: £60 for 6 weeks (£10 per session) 7.30 till 8.30pm

About Natalie...

Natalie's techniques come from her training at Tamworth Academy of Dance, and also with Derek Hartley at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She has also attended classes at Danceworks with Richard Holland and with the Mark Morris Dance Group in New York, and she currently attends professional classes in Reading. Her routines are inspired by the lyrics of the music chosen and they mix in other genres, combining old-style hoofing with more contemporary rhythmic-based tap. Being also a trained actor, Natalie encourages you to tell a story with every dance, without compromising your technical skills. She makes the class challenging and enjoyable, with adaptations always available to accommodate injuries or difficulties with any movements. The Rising Sun Arts Centre has a beautiful wooden floor, which is ideal to tap on. Natalie is passionate about the skills she shares and the power of dance to improve physical and mental wellbeing. For your first class, no need to worry if you don't have tap shoes. Just come along with suitably close-fitting shoes (not trainers) which you can move in and you don't mind knocking about in, and enjoy!
