Iota Events And Double Okay Are Excited To Host Reading's First Trans Pride After Party At The Rising Sun Arts Centre!!

The bar will be open with all proceeds going towards the Rising Sun Arts Centre. Hosted by the legendary Big Jay and Sheer Obsession.

Trans Pride was created to provide safer and inclusive spaces in Reading to celebrate underrepresented individuals in our community, who are proudly trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming, and may not feel connected to mainstream Pride celebrations.

This event is free but there is a limited capacity, so please book your ticket as soon as possible. We have 15 tickets reserved for trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming people ONLY, with the option of adding an ally as a plus 1. You will only be able to book 2 tickets per person.

Covid Regulations

  • Please as always respect people’s personal space, and allow room for people to social distance should they wish to.
  • If you feel more comfortable wearing a face covering, please do so, although this is not mandatory.
  • Please DO NOT ATTEND if you are displaying any Covid symptoms or test positive for Covid-19.
  • We strongly encourage you to do a lateral flow test before attending if possible.

Access

The downstairs of the Rising Sun Arts Centre where this event is held is wheelchair accessible. There is a disabled access toilet on the ground floor, and the bar area is also wheelchair accessible. 

This event will be be a mixture of standing and seated. If you need a chair to access the event, please let us know. Feel free to get up, stretch or move around when you need to.

There is a space upstairs (not wheelchair accessible) if you need a break out space - please talk to a volunteer on the night if you need this. There is a car park space outside that can also be used as a break out space.

Please note their is limited parking spaces at the venue. If you need one, please get in touch.
