An arty start to the month

We kick off December with two very different art events at the centre.

First up on Friday 4th December is The Fall of Icarus. This is a contemporary art show put together by Ailbhe and Jo, our two interns from the University of Reading who made a fantastic contribution over the summer.

The show will feature performance, sculpture, painting and film. It begins at 6pm, with performances between 7-10pm.

Then, Sunday 6th December brings this year’s Christmas Art Market. Once again, local artists will be offering their creations with stalls spread across two floors, letting you put the fun back into your Christmas shopping.

There’ll also be homemade cakes, mulled wine, family activities and more. And it all starts at 11am.

Both events are free entry, so why not pop along and support local artists this weekend?
