Covid-19 Statement - 19 July 2021:

We are super excited that The Rising Sun Arts Centre is now open to the public! To make sure everyone is safe, from 19 July 2021 we are choosing to carry over most of our restrictions from the government's Stage 3 advice. We will not go to full capacity events until later in the year.

When you come to The Rising Sun Arts Centre:

  • Sanitiser stations are available.

  • We have a regular enhanced cleaning policy that will continue in place.

  • Volunteers will wear masks inside the venue unless exempt - we recommend that visitors also continue to do so.

  • The capacity of the Centre will remain at 25 people maximum at any one time.

  • Social distancing will be made possible at all events to allow people the choice of maintaining a distance.

  • Events will be held outside where possible.

  • We encourage volunteers and visitors to check into the venue by scanning the Covid-19 QR code or signing in.

Please do not come to the Centre if you are displaying Covid symptoms - instead, self-isolate and order a PCR test. The legal requirement to isolate should you become positive, or be a close contact of a positive person, remains in place until at least 16th August.

We can’t wait to see you all again! Thank you for working with us to keep everyone safe.

Best wishes,

Larry and the Re-Opening Team
