Dance Dance Dance this Sunday

Damien's picture

After last year’s Dance Day was a resounding success, we’re doing it all over again this Sunday with another full day of taster classes in a variety of styles – and all completely FREE!

But this year, we’re ramping things up a bit, with twice the number of classes on two floors! So not only does this mean we can add new and different dances to the programme, it means we can double up on some of them so you have a better chance of trying the dances you love.

The likes of Councillor Sarah Hacker and Rob Wilson MP are  getting excited for the day, so if you want to try something new this year, come on down this Sunday and dance away those winter blues!

The Schedule

10.00 - Café opens
10.30 - Kick start your day with a get active, 'wake up' salsa class
11.30 - Kizomba or La Rueda
12.30 - 5 Rhythms or Bachata
1.30 - Balboa or Tango
2.30 - Bachata or Charleston (strolls)
3.30 - La rueda or Balboa
4.30 - Kizomba or Tango
5.30 - 6.00 – Chill out while we set up for…
6.00 onwards Demonstrations by the teachers and maybe some free dancing.

Did you know that I once made a replica nuclear submarine out of polystyrene.  It didn't go down very well
