It’s time to announce some more names for this year’s Here Comes The Sun Festival!

We’re delighted to welcome back some more familiar faces from last year, both of whom will be playing at full strength this year – 21st century shoegaze maestros Jopy, and more skiffle, folk and murder ballads from Grae J Wall & Los Chicos Muertos! We’ll also be welcoming back Colours & Fires and her acoustic folk rock (with hint of prog) for the first time in a few years!

We’ve got a couple of fine young bands making their festival debuts this year, too – HööF with their jangly melodic indie, and Puma Theory with their introspective, emotive rock.

And, as always, we love to give festival slots to artists who make their home at the Rising Sun – and the weekly Artist Link Up group will have a showcase for some of the young singers and rappers to show the rest of the world what they’re made of!

They join a stacked line-up that already includes Ma Bessie and Her Pig Foot Band, No Feathers, Wolfnote, Steve Daniels, Zap! Comedy and Dreading Slam Poetry – and we’ve still got a few more names to announce, too!

So why not join us for the biggest house party of the summer – tickets just £10 in advance from WeGotTickets, or £15 on the door (should we not sell out in advance!)

This Weekend's Events (20th to 22nd April)

Hi Everyone

It really annoys me how people nowadays are always moaning on about how things were better in the old days.  Nobody ever complained in my day... hang on....

Interview: Greg Chapman

This Saturday, Greg Chapman brings his “one-man variety” show to the centre, with two performances – a family-friendly matinee and a more grown-up evening show.

Hi Everyone

Did you know that I once made a replica nuclear submarine out of polystyrene.  It didn't go down very well
