Hi Everyone

Do you know, as September makes its annual appearance, the days are starting to draw in, the rain, sleet and drizzle gets slightly colder and on that new-fangled wireless with pictures there already one or two rogue advertisements for something called Christmas.

In other news, we have a slightly quieter weekend here at the Rising Sun.  However, on friday, we find time to bring you THE BIG UNTIDY NIGHT OUT

The good folks at Big Untidy HQ return form their August interregnum to bring you the following cornucopia of special guests

* DAMIAN CLARKE
* MY NORTHERN SKY
* Plus the return of, from Brighton, JONATHAN MASON
* Completing the bill we have the youthful and talented punksters STATIC IN MOTION!

We're open at 7.30pm and you can expect to pay no more than £5 for a full evening's fun.

Saturday and Sunday are a little quiet.  Personally, I your humble narrator, will be setting aside to read Keith Richards autobiography.  After several years employing it as a doorstop, a paving slab and on special occasions, a novelty frisbee.  I've decided to find an alternative use and see if he can remember anything from the 1960s

That's everything for another weekend, just to remind you that you can find us at 30 Silver Street, Reading, RG1 2ST  (If you put us in your Google or Sat Nav, we shall magically appear)
