AGM 2026

All volunteers are invited to the Rising Sun AGM to be held on Sunday 23rd August 2026, 11am - 1pm. This will be followed by a free lunch for all those who would like to stay and attend.

Election of Trustees
Trustee year Amy Gibb will be standing for re-election. Interim appointed Trustee Seamus Allen is standing for election. Trustee George Field will not be standing for re-election. Interim appointed Trustee Paul McMullen will not be standing for election. Two other nominations have been received. This would bring the number of Trustees to four. We are still looking for at least two further nominations to total six Trustees (7 - 8 Trustees would be even better to spread the load). The deadline for anyone else notify us of their interest is Wednesday 10th August. Please get in touch with us directly on this email if you are interested in becoming a Trustee and would like more information about the role.
Any members who have further items or resolutions to propose should also submit these by Wednesday 10th August. At that point we will release biographies/profiles of all candidates, a full agenda, a copy of the annual accounts and the Trustees Annual Report. Volunteers who are unable to attend and wish to vote by proxy will have an opportunity to submit a voting form which will be attached to the next AGM mailing.
We hope to see all volunteers and stakeholders at the meeting.
