Hi Everyone

The summer seems to be digging its heels in slightly and refusing to budge now that Autumn is officially upon us, very much in the manner of somebody at pub closing time who thinks they can still grab one last drink even though their friends are gesticulating wildly in a futile attempt to warn them that their taxi has arrived

Friday is a little bit quiet, but on Saturday & Sunday we bring you the BOOKFACE BOOKENDER!

To celebrate Bookface's 7th year, the Rising Sun's 25th birthday and the Year of Culture, Bookface is extending for a whole weekend this year! Browse stalls of handmade books, small press, experimental and altered books, illustrated books and exhibition pieces. Poetry readings, workshops and more including

POETRY PERFORMANCE by AF HARROLD on Sunday 3pm (for children and adults).

WORKSHOPS:
Saturday - folded pockets book (time tbc)
Sunday - geli printing 12 noon - 2pm

Handmade books demonstrations by Janina Haher

Relax in our YELLOW TEAPOT CAFE with homemade snacks and organic beers.

That’s everything for another week, just to remind you that we are, as always, at 30 Silver Street, Reading, RG1 2ST (If you pop it into your satnav or Google, we shall magically appear!)

Have a nice weekend!
