New steps for Stand Up Cinema

Damien's picture

Great movies, workshops and a new annual pass for 2016.

A new year, and a new season of films from Stand Up Cinema, courtesy of Real Time. In the next few months alone, we’ve got Scorsese and Shakespeare, Tati and Toho – quite an eclectic line-up!

This year we also have an exciting series of lectures and workshops linked to Reading's Year of Culture and complementing our film screenings. These Make It Visual sessions look at design, animation and scriptwriting, and combine theory with practical examples.

With such a bumper programme, we’re offering a new annual membership of just £10 that includes entry to all films and complementing activities! More info will follow on our first workshop beginning February.

In the meantime, join us this Friday 15th January for a showing of Scorsese’s Raging Bull. Short films from 7.30pm, main film from 8pm... popcorn provided, as always!
