Refugee Dressmaking Fundraiser

Next week is Refugee Week! In advance to this, we at The Rising Sun are launching our Refugee Dressmaking Campaign!
We are working with Reading City of Sanctuary to run dressmaking sessions with refugees in Reading. The project provides fabrics, sewing machines and dressmaking equipment so that those attending can make or mend clothes, learn dressmaking skills, be creative and be part of the wider community.
Over the next few weeks, we will be posting about some of our past sessions, sharing photos and stories on our social media.
