We won...!

Last night, the Rising Sun won a What's On Reading Award in the Cultural Diversity category. It was a brilliant night and hugely inspiring to be in the company of such powerful and imaginative arts projects happening in Reading. Thank you to all the Rising Sun volunteers who attended, as well as artistic and community groups - Zap, Move Up, Artist Link Up, Chinese Ink Painting, and the Refugee Sewing Project. What a great night and a reminder of all that the Rising Sun stands for - inclusive and participatory arts for all. Hurrah!

Congratulations also goes to the awesome Sid Siddle and the Future Transmissions crew for the Judges' Special Recognition Award. Well done Sid!
