Hidden Histories is a DIY exhibition celebraring the Rising Sun Arts Centre and its place in Reading, the world it sprang from and the people that made and make it happen.

Join our monthly Latin dance party for a relaxed and friendly celebration of salsa, tango, bachata, meringue, milonga and more!  Always a nice vibe and a friendly atmosphere. 

Tangos, vals and milongas from Reading’s own Tango Select. This is your chance to dance to a live band, or come along to hear the beautiful music alone.

West Side Story (Jerome Robbins & Robert Wise, 1961). A classic take on Romeo and Juliet, the tale of Maria and Tony, star crossed lovers from warring gangs: the sharks and the Jets.

The Rising Sun Arts Centre is celebrating its 25th birthday this year. This one-off Birthday Celebration will commemorate the centre's achievements over the last quarter of a centre.

Come and dine in style, and have a jolly nice time, at the one-off return of the wonderful communal eating experience that is Veggie Dining.
